About Eden’s Corner
Simple, serene journal templates created for mindful writing and daily clarity
Hello, friend.
Welcome to this quiet little spot I’ve created.
I’m Eden Clarke—that’s the name I write under, and I’ve chosen it for a reason. I’ve found that by using a pen name, I’m able to give myself a little bit of privacy and security, which I think is important, especially when I’m writing about pieces of my life story. There are definitely times when I need to talk about things, but I find that using a pen name allows me to do that without worrying about my safety or my own peace and security. I know it sounds silly, but I think it allows me to connect with you, my friend, in a much more intimate way without worrying about what you’ll think or do with that information. I’ve always felt that the name Eden is representative of who I’m becoming as a person—a peaceful, grounded person who is comfortable in my own skin, slowly learning to find joy and independence in life. And while I’ve struggled with things in my life, I’ve also found that the “Corner” portion of my pen name is representative of those times in my life when I felt as though I were in a corner—literally or figuratively. However, now, Eden’s Corner is a place of peace, security, and a place where I can sit, think, and gently rebuild.
This space is here for two reasons from the heart:
- To be a friendly, supportive space where we can talk about what we’ve been through and remind each other that we’re not alone in having felt lost or drained.
- To provide useful and comforting journaling templates that I’ve created to help us be clearer about our lives, be kind to ourselves, set boundaries, recognize patterns, and start to build a life that feels like ours.
A note from me to you: Everything here is from my own life, from what I’ve been through and what I’ve learned from it. I’m not a therapist or any sort of expert. If you need help and support, please talk to someone who can provide that. Your well-being is most important. I’m just another human being navigating life through similar struggles and discoveries, and I’m happy to share what I’ve learned so far. I hope some of it will be useful to you too.
We’re all navigating through life together, one small page at a time, one deep breath at a time.
Kindly,
Eden Clarke
